Damage Reimbursement
& Insurance
Damage Reimbursement of 60¢ Per Pound Per Item is provided at no additional charge to all MoveCorp
Customers
It may surprise you to learn
that under federal law all movers are only liable for 60 ¢ per pound per item,
unless additional protection is purchased.
This means that you would receive $6.00 for a 10 pound computer that was
damaged. Although MoveCorp has an
outstanding record of delivering customers product without incident, there’s
always that nagging question. “What if something happens?” First, check your business insurance to see if
it includes any moving coverage. It’s up
to each individual customer to decide for themselves if it’s worth the
additional cost, but there are alternatives available should additional
insurance be required.
